Glennette Strother
Glennette earned her Master of Social Work from the University of New England in 2017, following completion of her Bachelor of Social Work at George Mason University in 2014. She has several years of experience working with families experiencing homelessness, where she provided advocacy, support, and resource coordination to promote stability and long-term well-being.
Glennette approaches her work with a strong commitment to empathy, dignity, and empowerment. She strives to create a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment, guided by the belief that individuals possess the capacity for growth and change when provided with compassionate care. She is currently accepting new clients and works with adolescents and adults ages 12–65.
Glennette is a Supervisee in Social Work and practices under clinical supervision. Her primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, which she uses to help clients identify strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful goals.
